Trauma Dynamics is a somatic intervention for trauma. This means I work with the Autonomic Nervous System to allow your body to process trauma it has stored. This intervention is useful for PTSD, trauma, complex trauma, and vicarious trauma. As my client, you will work on internal resourcing, strengthening yes’s and no’s, increasing persistence, and allowing the body to release trauma through the Autonomic Nervous System.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
CBT is useful for anxiety, worry and working with negative cognition’s (thoughts). I implement this technique in session so you will be able to know how it works and practice on your own at home. Practice work may be assigned along with journaling to track your thoughts, anxieties and worries.
CBT is also useful for assisting with weight loss. I am not a doctor or a nutritionist. My specialty is helping you identify negative thought patterns and helping you create a new powerful narrative to help you become successful in your weight loss journey.
